What's the deal with vindictusDB?Follow

They took down a lot of content, there's still a lot of broken content that hasn't been fixed, and now any emails sent through the website's contact form bounce back as deliverable. What happened? Who's in charge of that site?

I'm pretty sure the wowhead devs are the ones in charge of that particular site. It may be that it isn't getting enough traffic for it to get alot of attention.

http://vindictusdb.com/contact goes to an e-mail they use. Aside from that, I'm not sure. Its a separate area of the company.

It usually indicates support for the site is going awway. Staff allocation is based on usage levels. if no one is using the site, they allocate less people. on the other hand, if its broken no one is going to be using it. So far no one seems to know what the status of this particular one is here on the zam side of things.

They should either shut it down or sell it off if they're not going to allocate a single person for support. Having a broken, unsupported site as part of the "network" does nothing but weaken the brand.

This is one of two vindictus fansite with useful info, and the other, the wiki, isn being updated anymore and is pretty unstable. I don't see how usage levels could possibly be low...if anything, it should be pretty high.

If nobody is even in charge of the site right now, how about actually assigning someone to it?

I am on this right now! In fact the news have been updated and it also states: New! Updated to Halloween Content! So something is being done. Checking into why your emails are not being answered. They do not come to me so I cannot take responsibility, but I will get you an answer of some kind.

Jerek finally responded and told me some guy named Zack was in charge, and Zack responded to my email. All good now. Thanks!
