Only shows EQ:AA_Costs_Q page, but none of the others that list Encroaching Darkness. Also, EQ:AA_Costs_E#Encroaching_Darkness you'd think would make EQ:AA_Costs_E page be on the list, if not near the top.
There any fix for this, or any suggestions on changing the wiki pages to make them show up in the search?

I don't recall off-hand what the wiki search indexer indexes (as in title only, title + first part of body, whole body, etc.) so I'll have to look into that.
If the pages are brand new, give 'em some time to show up in the search. If they don't in 12 hours or so, post in here with a link to the article; the indexer likely got mad and quit working for some reason. Easily fixed, though, when that happens (though usually we catch it pretty quickly)

not a problem. Remind me Tuesday-ish if I don't have an answer (just post in this thread; it'll notify me). Doing a lot of forum moves right now, have a big Rift change to make (actually a few, but only one before the test stuff goes live this round,) and have both an EQ and EQ2 expansion incoming, so I am a little prone to forget, not sleep :)

Someone in the EQ forum was wondering if links to the wiki pages, could be added to the spell pages. For example: the spell page at https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=16106 (Encroaching Darkness) could have a link to https://everquest.allakhazam.com/wiki/EQ:AA_Costs_E#Encroaching_Darkness or something similar? I have an online spreadsheet of the AA info at http://www.editgrid.com/user/yther_ore/Alternative_Advancement that is not complete, but maybe could be used if I add in the spell IDs for the activated AAs to be added to your database and reverse looked up and just show the info on the spell pages, or something like that?
Just a few ideas, that have been suggested.

Eh, probably not. Well, not programatically at least. You might check with the CMs and see if they have a solution. I'll try and re-visit that at some point.

Well it seemed to get a few more pages, but none of the EQ:AA_Costs_? ones other than Q which it already got. I think the wiki indexer ignores the internal anchors, so I assume, I'll just have to add the anchor names again, without the anchor to get them indexed?

Thanks for remembering. I started to fix the old pages before I got side-tracked on the individual AA pages, by duplication the the header / in-page links to just plain text (i.e.

==Harm Touch==
to
===6000===
==Harm Touch== Harm Touch 6000
and those items on those pages started showing the page on searches for the items. It wasn't a great fix, but figured it would do until the headers would be included in the search.

The original problem is not so big with the new individual AA pages, but still something you might want to look into (searching anchors). However, the ranking doesn't seem real good for some searches I've done. Example: Petrified Roots link:https://everquest.allakhazam.com/search.html?q=Petrified+Roots shows a root-rotting page as 100, and two AAs, Viscid Roots which mentions Petrified roots as an alternate name, and Hastened Roots which doesn't say petrified in it either both at 95 rank.
