After the popup comes up and you hit submit, you have to close the window manually. Is there a way to make it close automatically after hitting submit?

Personally, I like that the window stays open, only because it gives a confirmation that the report went through.

On a side note, why do I have the option to report my own posts?

I guess in case you want a post or thread of yours to be nuked or locked, but I can't think of any other reasons.

Maybe you get hacked and some spammer posts as you. That's the only reason I could see, except for "programming oversight".

reporting doubleposts was the main reason. The one I find really amusing is that admins can report posts...

More amusing than that is being able to report admins. I see Magi's mark still remains.

I've always thought it hilarious that we can mute and ban ourselves too. Though only Justine the twice self-banned ever actually used those. Exo managed to de-admin himself playing with norate once too, but that was more accidental.

I mute myself and such for testing, but I do have the fallback of database access if I ***** up too badly, heh.
