Even then, it feels like a token effort at best, in a thinly veiled attempt to avoid the sh*tstorm that happened after their last major layout changes. Not that they'll listen this time more than any other, but they could at least pretend a little harder.
They are listening. Fixing the bugs real quick if nothing else.

The colors to names are back, but they just look ... weird on all the skins now. Not certain what it is, but I could have sworn there was more than just different colors, whether it was size or bold or something.

The category drop down only works at the top of the page, is that intended or should it work at the bottom too?

This is because it would be cut off very quickly. In a future update to our path/breadcrumb system we will be able to enable dropdowns there.

The mobile skin needs to be looked at. I'm getting avatars squished over to the right on most of Jerek's posts in this thread, davejohnsan's too. I thought it was just posts with quotes, but all of Lubriderm's posts appear correctly.

What browser/device are you using?

I think it has to do with how the window is sized. Will post a screenshot of what it's doing in a sec.

Absolutely hate (FFXI skin) the dark blue bar on the side and top of each post. Makes reading posts with quotes in them, horrific.

Also, not liking the name colours from the wow skin on the ffxi skin.

As long as you guys are going to allow embedded Youtube videos in posts, you're going to need some sort of Report button for them. It would also be good if they started out collapsed, with just the title visible as a link, and could be expanded to display in the post. It wouldn't be technically difficult, either.

Where do I go to check my Followed Threads now? I do like the new button for it that's active on every page, not just the first one, but now I'm not sure how to get to the page itself anymore to delete old threads (without getting a response in a followed thread).

Second column, under Private Messages and next to Avatar Settings.

I could have sworn the old skin had the option to view your Followed Threads from the index, though.

Apologies if this was posted by someone already.

Sometimes, when I post, the rating arrows will show up on my posts. Other times, they won't. I can't rate myself either way when they do, but they still show up, or did at least once anyway.

It did. We need to add a link to /follow.html to the forum menus.

On a side note, I entered in a gibberish google chat name for testing purposes, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on my user profile. Where is it supposed to be?

I'm a little confused. I can post images but not access mine from my pre-premium days or what? I can't find any way to access them although I can see them if I look at older threads where they were posted.

I may have missed it if this was asked earlier.

It would be nice to be able to see the rating of a thread from the forum index, like we used to.

It should now be visible in the General tab of your profile. A bug was preventing it from being displayed, and is now fixed. Note that contact information added to that area is public, though we don't display it to anonymous users or users with less than 5 posts.

Hm, we may want to modify that behavior to allow you access to old premium images. I'm not sure though, that's probably something that will have to be decided by someone else.

This was removed because while sometimes useful, it wasn't greatly so. If we were to re-add it we'd want to do so in a way that takes up little to no room. For now though, it will just be visible when viewing a thread.

At the top of a thread, when you mouse over the links to the forums you're in, it will produce a pop up of the other forums under that same heading. Either get rid of that, or add it to the bottom as well as it's useless at the top of the thread when there's a link back to the forum at the bottom of the thread as well.

Is it possible to put a delay in for the mouse overs? They're nice to have, but they load too quick for my taste.

I don't know if you're still working on the mobile skin or not, but as it currently stands, avatars are all fine, but the width of the forums exceeds the boundaries of the screen on my mobile, regardless of screen orientation.

This is a temporary fix to keep it from breaking the layout. I'll be able to work on it more later (tonight or tomorrow) when I have access to an Android device. A quick question though - when you see the Report button do you see "! Report" or just "!" on your Android?

Scrolling with YouTube links causes some pretty massive broken refreshing, on the FFXI skin, it looks as ugly as an inbred redneck, and I dislike the Decent names being in blue, but other than that... it's pretty ****.

!Report, but the icon looks a bit close to the text, and the Bookmark text encroaches on the icon as well. The edit icon is squished too. Quote and Reply have a space between the icon and text, which look much cleaner.

I don't know about you, but I have just tons of extra space on the forum index. I suppose it's covered by the mouseover, though that only works if you haven't opened the thread previously.

On an unrelated note, clicking the Quote button on posts would be more useful if it worked with Quick Reply.
