The dropdown menu would just be cut off, so it's disabled. In a future update to how the paths/breadcrumbs work we may be able to re-enable this.

Correct, it's always been 51 posts on the first page, just that it wasn't as obvious before.

Not sure if you can do anything about it (probably set on YouTube's end), but thought I'd bring it up since I often scroll-wheel through threads and it's fairly annoying to have it stop whenever there's a video.
This is on YouTube's end. If I can find a way to get around it though, I'll do what I can.
