Why are you giving away the PS3/XBOX360 version of the headset for a computer game drawing?

The G930 is the one you should be giving away, not the F540.

We are looking into this at the moment. I'm told that the console version will work and bind correctly for use with a PC, however the other version does have support software that goes with it that may enable some features. So, I don't have an answer for you yet, but we'll find out what is going on and get back to you.

I have the G930 so I really couldn't care less, I just thought I would bring it up.

As far as the differences, the G930's equalizer and channel settings are all set within the software. The F540 wirelessly connects to a splitter type box which then connects to the systems. Since their isn't a power button on the F540 (If it is on the headset it isn't in the same place as the G930) I have a feeling it's controlled by that splitter box. I would assume you can take the dongle that plugs into the box and connect it directly to your computer, but it's probably going to be a crap shoot as to whether or not you can get it to work and how much control you'll have over the headset.

We changed it to the G930, thanks for the heads up. The person putting together the giveaway was a sales person and not really a hardcore gamer, don't think he noticed.
