Do you keep track of what people report posts? I'd be interested to see who the top 10 "forum police" are. :P

We track it to prevent abuse, but it probably wouldn't be appropriate to release stats on it, since people may expect some privacy when reporting stuff.

I could tell you that there have been 3652 reports from 656 different people, but not by who. I guess I could also say that you're ranked 26th, but if I do that, a half-dozen other people are going to ask for their own.

I'm actually a little curious to know if any of my posts have been reported.

So, i'm seeing rate arrows for that last post of mine, refreshing doesn't fix it. They don't work obviously, but they're there.

I'm gonna have to step it up then. Would I be pushing the line to ask how many of mine have been reported? I'd venture a guess at not many :P.

This would be the equivalent of saying "since people may expect some privacy when posting in people's journals, we shouldn't be able to see the Top250".

I mean, really, all you'd get to see is a number. (And a hint that maybe you shouldn't post stupid/offensive/wrong-forum things when you see these names in the "Recent Visitors" list.) Not "these are what's been reported by Person X", which would be problematic from a privacy standpoint.

Meh, go ahead and release the stats, it's just another number. Of course the only stuff I ever report are adbots and such. I don't really care very much about the occasional dumbassery* from regulars, it's half the reason I still frequent this place.
