Several bugsFollow

Was gonna save these in case we did another one of those bug squash contests again, so i could get free rateups, but meh, who knows if that will ever happen again anyway:

Excessive line breaks show up in mouseover previews (the preview will continue much longer than it should).

Reset form button on search page does not work properly after searching, it just resets to whatever you searched for.

Line breaks in pre tags do not show up in live view.

Filter doesn't work for thread titles on follow.html

Locking/stickying posts works while muted. Not sure if that's intentional, since (un)nuking doesn't.

Forum search. Example Deleting/changing anything, or changing the forums selected and then clicking reset will just change it back to what was.

That is how it's supposed to work. The reset button on a html form always resets to what the default value is set for in it. After you search, those defaults become what you searched for.

We could add a button for a new search.

Browser/OS/example? I'm not seeing it. And I'm assuming FFXI template?

Ah, so you don't mean that previews are adding extra line breaks, but rather they aren't trimming existing ones?
#8 Jul 02 2010 at 11:17 AM Rating: Good
Yeah, sorry i wasn't clear about that.

Forum mouseover previews should now cap line breaks at 2.

Another bug:

If the last post in a thread was nuked, for the last post column, the link to the user who made the post will be /users/&id=127847378318918136, where the number is the post number for the last unnuked post in the thread.

+1 to obscure bugs i've reported.

In which view(s) are you seeing this?
The forum views. The test sticky in my journal does it for example.

It's amazing, he's like an entire beta testing team in one person.

Smiley: laugh

Speaking of which, when posting, where it says "from: user name" the link points to your name including the premium title. Mine points to http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/users/Princess%20ThePsychoticOne for example.

Fixed.

this still works, and should probably be killed.

The reply/edit links are broken for stickies in live view (they point to mid=-1 always, refreshing doesn't fix it). Speaking of which, rating/stickying/locking/(un)nuking a post in live will change the edit/reply links from /forum.html?forum=blah, to /live.html?forum=blah, causing it to not work.

The edit post link still shows up for locked threads in live view.

Long words don't wrap around in live view, causing it to break.
#20 Jul 19 2010 at 5:05 PM Rating: Good
The image button in posts (/cgi-bin/userimages-popup.pl) seems broken too.
#21 Jul 19 2010 at 11:35 PM Rating: Excellent
The lock button is not highlighted for locked threads in live view, unless you lock it from live view (reloading changes it back).

Nested spoilers don't work in post previews, or live view.

This should be fixed now, except in ie6/7, which hate life.

Works for me:

Perhaps it was a temporary glitch or already fixed? What is/was broken about it?

It doesn't list all the images you've uploaded. firefox 3.6.7, XP.

While following this thread, i tried clicking the arrow to go to the last new post, and it linked me to http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/fcluster/gotopost.pl?mid=1279991451319308618, even though the last post was 127999590749373123.

edit: Ah, that post was nuked. May want to add a check for nuked posts i guess.

Filters also don't work for the recently viewed posts (on user pages).
