In live, when a new post is loaded, all of the previous ones are reset back to what they were originally loaded as.

For example, rating a post reloads it, and updates any edits, etc, but when a new post is loaded, it resets it back to what it was originally. The rate arrows also come back.

Also, olde, but still hasn't been fixed, and since i have scholar again, it's been bothering me a lot lately: when you rate a post it changes the reply/edit links from ..forum.html?forum=x, to ..live.html?forum=x, causing it to just reload live. Same thing happens when you (un)nuke a post from live as well.

That's happening somewhat frequently when rating posts in live.

When a thread is nuked, you can rate down posts that you've already rated up. Rating up 2x doesn't work, and i haven't tested rate downs followed by either up/down, but you can definitely rate up+down.

Was this in Live or elsewhere?

Not in live. It was tested by multiple people in this thread, if that helps.

I'll check into it. I think it's something related to an ability to un-do your own rate (i.e. rate back up to neutral if you rated down (or vice-versa) then either direction from there). I may be wrong on that, though.

I forgot; that was never implemented for a few reasons. Yeah, it's actually working as intended, as it turns out. You're not really getting to double-rate anything as it turns out, though it looks like you can.

It's not really doing on the back-end what it looks like it's doing.

Yeah. It's complicated to say the least.
That's rather interesting. Any possibility of a basic explanation?

When a post is nuked (depending on how/by whom it is nuked,) certain things happen to the ratings on the post. Also, any rating you gave would simply overwrite an old one. Or not hit at all, depending. Then there's the time of recalculation on a post/user, the events that cause it, etc., etc. It gets really hard to explain.

Incidentally, fixed a bug unrelated to this I noticed by checking on this (not to due with ratings).

In a nuked thread, the breadcrumb for the forum does not work (works fine for admins, but no one else).

When a post is nuked, up-ratings on it are voided. When the first post in the thread is nuked, this is applied to all posts in the thread.

Correct. The idea is that rate-ups on a post/thread that was bad enough to be nuked are unwarranted, but rate-downs are probably deserved.

Ah, makes sense.

Except for voiding all rate ups in a nuked thread. That doesn't make as much sense.

It's attempting to escape the apostrophe in his title, though why it wants to do that is beyond me. EDIT: Especially because it doesn't need to be escaped.

I was just mentioning what I did to prove that it's not just that one specific title that has the problem, but all titles with an apostrophe, because that should help pinpoint where the problem is.

Not a big deal, but inconsistencies bother me. Pressing the markup tags in a pm with no text selected will just add the tag, instead of the tag, and text like in a post (ie instead of Bold Text).

Adding yourself to your ignore list prevents you from reading your own journal.

And could you make the public journal setting actually puclic, and not everyone who's not on your ignore list? Maybe add a separate option to do that i guess.

We likely shouldn't allow you to add yourself to your own ignore list, as amusing as that is.

I'll get journals changed to not allow people on ignore to view your journal.

Yes, the white is intended.

Which skin are you having the size problem on? We fixed that last week. Perhaps you have an old css file still?
