Nested Menu DIfficultyFollow

Currently running the site through ffxi.allakhazam, and when I put my cursor over the database option, nested options all stack up together (particular the items nested menu). The problem I have found for this is that the nested menu for items covers up the jobs and quests/missions option.

FYI, makes it difficult if you want to go directly to the jobs or quest/mission option.

What browser are you using?

Using Firefox

It seems to only be happening when I have allakhazam restricted by noscript. When I unblock it, putting my mouse cursor over database doesn't automatically open the nested menu.

Do you have noscript installed? And do you have allakhazam allowed?

The only way I can repeat this is if I forbid allakhazam.com in noscript. Then all the menus stack ontop of each other.

Edit:
Easy solution, allow Allakhazam to run scripts so it works correctly Smiley: grin

An easy solution but hardly ideal.

Given all the "problems" that can pop up in particular at sites that would have a high visitor density of FFXI or WoW or other MMO users, I (and possibly others) tend to keep no-script active at all times.

That's why you only allow trusted sites. Dangerous sites will still be blocked, because they are not allakhazam.com

There is a reason why noscript allows you to allow specific sites, and this is one of them. Scripts are required for sites to run correctly, and trusted sites should be allowed to run.

That's like saying "I removed the engine from my car because I thought it would be unsafe, and now it doesn't move! Fix this!" You have to allow scripts for some sites; they're a part of the basic functionality of the internet at this point. I like using Noscript as much as anyone else, but if a site doesn't work because it's on, I'm not going to ask them to redesign their site without using javascript.
