This isn't that terrible of an issue, but it seems rather annoying. Using Safari, once a drop down menu is initiated, the ads it crosses over disappear. Once the menu is disengaged, the ads flash back. It isn't that bad of an issue, but it's a little epileptic-seizuresque.

This is intentional to avoid issues with particular flash ads. Some flash ads use a display method that forces things such as dropdown menus to go behind them, and there's no way for us to fix it. We badly want a better option, but until we find one we'll have to keep hiding ads when dropdowns are opened.
