So, recently (past few days maybe) the text box when making a new post or thread has expanded to fill the whole screen from the menu bar all the way over to the far right side of the screen. It used to be a set width, just enough for the "Bold" to "Spoiler" buttons to fit. My desktop is 1680x1050, the text box is about twice the width of the area taken up by the markup buttons.

The larger text box is an intended feature to give people more typing space, not a bug. A row of buttons shouldn't be dictating its width. For that matter the row of buttons can change width depending on the site/browser/os you're using.

The feature is aesthetically grotesque. It does not conform to any known design concepts and is out of scale with the rest of the page. Only a Minnesotan could have come up with it.

I keed because I live smack dab in the middle of several million of them. Still funny looking and causing the other boards to point and laugh.
