Who karma bombs a journal?Follow

#1 Mar 15 2010 at 4:26 PM Rating: Decent
Here.

Seriously. MY journal. And I'm damn careful not to let it turn into a place where I make snide remarks about other posters just because most of them don't see it.

I'd like for the person who did that to get a nice, fat no-rate. And I'd like a PM confirming that they've received the no-rate. I don't need a name, as long as the no-rate happens. And if the no-rate doesn't happen, I'd like a name. Reciprocity is a *****.

Nope. Someone is rating down my posts in other forums just because it's me who posted regardless of the content. They cross the line when they come into my little nook of the ZAM world and start playing their little pansy games.

Rating you down in a journal where ratings don't even count is crossing the line? If they're camping you elsewhere, then you may have a case, but no one is going to care if you get rate camped in your journal.

It's a matter of principle and I didn't ask for an argument...I'm asking for admin attention. I would have PM'd an admin, but who do I choose from for a journal? That's why the request is here.

I would also report a person who went through and bombed my Journal (if I used it). Because then they aren't doing it to accomplish anything but trolling/annoying you.

(Also, aurelius, you are no fun Smiley: cry)

I fixed the ratings and had a talk with them. let me know if it occures again. Also, in your cases, I see you are looking at the HAF 930. Cooler mAster jsut released a new case, the CM 690 II advanced. $99, has the internal layout of the HAF, but all black powdercoated and a bit less agressive styling: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119216&cm_re=cm_690_ii-_-11-119-216-_-Product

Aside from the ATI card and the air cooling, you're basically building my PC, so good work! (well I went with the Asus board for the SAS controllers, and sas 15k drives but quite similar. Oh and a different case (thermaltake Eureka) But anyways, yeah. journal camping, all fixed

Thanks for looking into it. Looks like I'll have to forgo my red arrow campaign of retribution..for now Smiley: sly

I have a sneaky plan for the PC case once I get a feel for how all the water cooling components go together, but I should have the main build underway this week and then I can focus on my devious designs.

That's just Rog. He's spent a bit too much time f**king the old moogle, but aside from that, he's alright.

For what it's worth, I just rated down your last post because you're getting unbelievably whiny at this point. You got your admin attention, move on already.

You can blame kao for rating me up hundreds of times, then telling me i was close to scholar, triggering a bunch of people to spam me with rate ups.

The classic "I don't post here to hear I'm wrong!" retort. Glad to see you don't disappoint. One has to wonder if your karma troll had some more legitimate reason than you're assuming here.

This isn't a game forum. I don't post here to discuss. I post here if I think something warrants admin attention, which it did or Kao would have told me to bugger off. And the troll, I would bet you bottom dollar, was likely from the FFXIV boards where people don't rate to say, "I disagree with your information/point of view," they rate to say, "I don't like you no matter what you might have to say." Like what has happened here. When you're an admin, your opinion on the concern I brought up here might concern me. You're not an admin, ergo you're posting in the wrong place.

Excuse me, you're not an admin, and you're not posting on the topic at hand. You're posting in the wrong place, and being, as I said earlier, incredibly whiny in the process. If you really think it's the same troll who rated you down here as in your journal, could you take maybe half a second to think that the admins here are bright enough to realize that? I mean, they have to be smarter than you, by default, or else these servers could hardly stay off the ground.

ETA: You're free to quote me the section from the rules that say "No discussion is to take place in the feedback forum". But I wish you the best of luck, because it doesn't exist.

You and I appear to have different ideas on the purpose of the karma system. Get yer panties unbunched for a moment and pause to consider the following truth: your opinion here is meaningless to me.

Likewise. I don't know why you think I care about that, though. I just think it's amusing how agitated you're getting over a meaningless number, and now over the fact that someone dared to post in your feedback thread. I also find it funny that all of your posts have been default before I've had the chance to rate them, though I have also rated them down on top of that, of course.
