User Posts error?Follow

It used to be when I went to the user posts page that shows all of my posts, that when I clicked on one of my posts it would go directly to the post, regardless of where it was on the page (provided that it was on the first page of the thread). Now, however, when I click on a post it brings up the thread that I posted in, but does not automatically zip to my post, rather it stays at the top of the first page of the thread.

Was this intentional or is it just a bug that is assosciated with the "forum upgrading" time? If it was intentional what was the reason?
