Am I using this wrong or is it just totally worthless?

None of the top ten are remotely accurate for the value of the loot they drop.
Apparently some level 26 Winter Wolves in Dun Morogh are the best mobs at this level. 10g a kill. 186k kills too so the data shouldn'b that skewed by a couple random things.

I found the problem, it was a random data corruption issue on some of the AH items that were less commonly found there. I'm running a rebuild now, it should be fixed soon. Mobs will still show their cached values for a bit until it refreshes them, but the searches/etc should give more sane values now.
