Illia's working on merging his revamp of the forum system live, so... not intended, but certainly not totally unexpected =)

Hey, while you're implementing stuff, can we get ", Prishe's buddy" as a title?
Imperial Ninja made me do it.

going to have to stick you with the sidebar for a bit Joph, while I make the www template behave like the others.

removing the sidebar is done on a per host basis with javascript/css.

click hide menu at the top. though the hide for the www site is slower than I'd like for some reason.

No such animal as Hide Menu

It's there in the other style sheets but it doesn't appear in the news template.

Considering he even circled the hide menu thing maybe he's trying to pull our legs?

Yeah I'm not liking the news template anymore, and I've been using it for quite some time. Not having the bar separating the poster from the message is the biggest oddity I think.

Was looking for it in the old spot. But, yeah, the weirdness of the layout combined with the "draw/ninja erase!" of the sidebar each time you hit a forum/thread means that the News template is on the outs.

QFT. I can't go to the FFXI template because it burns my eyeballs and the WoW template looks like you wiped your *** with the internet so I don't know what I'm going to do.

Did you try the SWG or EVE template? They're both similar to FFXI but not. Lotr is also sorta close.

When in doubt, there's always the EQOA template!

But I liked the news template. Neutral colors, when co-workers just glance at it it's not obvious I'm slacking off, not like the game templates where it's pretty clear what I'm doing.

News template is also still set to center all of the text in the threads.

I'm not getting that effect Jophiel, can you link the URL where you see that behavior?

Just going to give you a heads up that the news template is going to undergo some pretty hefy revamping soon. Aside from being reasonably worksafe it pretty much fails to accomplish any other goals we have for it.

But.. the menu flicking thing isn't working as intended. I'll try to see what I can do about it, currently the wow site uses the same way to hide the menu and it doesn't flick in for me at least.

Happening in this very thread with Firefox 2.0.0.4 running on WinXP. I could screenshot it but it'd look identical to my earlier screenshot with centered text.
