Just after signing up for premium service (whimper!) I found that the site menus expanded to cover the full page, instead of sitting happily on the left of the screen as usual. When you click on a menu item, the item selected appears at the bottom of the page.
Did i somehow damage the settings? And how do I fix?

I see the same, I use opera and the ffxi skin.

Same here, menu takes up the whole width of the browser, and the content is pushed down below it.

Its looks like the long veticle Ad placed on the page is causeing the problem. Same problem here, theres the side menu that is ****** u and cover half of the top of the page with nothign else, then below that a long verticle ad (random) follow by the horizontal add, then everything that used to be to the right of the side bar is no below all of this mess.

I'm having the same problem right now, but I'm not a premium member. The menu bars reach all the way across the screen and the page content is displayed below them. I'm using Internet Explorer v 7.0.5730.11.
I had the same problem. And it just fixed itself.

yup, seems to have cleared itself out now. Unless theres a monkey furiosly coding somewhere in a hidden and dark room.
Still doing it for me. Firefox 2.0.0.4, with adblock enabled.
