I'd like some confirmation that Alla's is still committed to the EQ side of the site. When I let my sub lapse a while back, it was because the EQ site wasn't being updated thoroughly when expansions came out. Specifically, the EXCELLENT tool for looking for gear upgrades never seemed to get a filter for the latest expansion unless I emailed & asked for it. And then it got to the point that even emailing didn't get any action.

So how are things now? I heard about the IGE sale... don't really care. Alla's used to be the best, I guess I'd just like to hear that it still is.

Adding items has been automated via lucy, the advanced search saw an overhaul (with still more to come) and various other changes and fixes to quests, items and spells.

I guess I was hoping that someone in the know would respond and address my concerns, so that I might be encouraged to once again become a paying subscriber, as I was for 3 or 4 years in the past.

Even tho that wasn't forthcoming, I paid anyway. It does appear that there is a filter option for each expansion now... cool. As for things being updated automatically from Lucy, there might be some issues there. For example, when I tried to update my shammy gear, the cultural stuff still shows up as "grandmaster" & not "elaborate". "Elaborate" isn't even on the list of choices. Yet it does exist as "elaborate" on Lucy's database.

Something else I've encountered when I search for upgrades. Looking for upgrades for my 48 SK, and choosing YES for the "Use char's money and level" option, is returning many items with required levels well above level 48. Am I missing some other option in the filter?
