I actually like the fact that there's no databases for Vanguard anywhere beyond shallow Wiki-style reference materials. There are a number of good sites out there for forums, so I just use those if I have questions or want to do some research, but as far as specific in-game information, well, I'm fine with discovering things on my own. It adds to the immersiveness of the game if I'm constantly surprised and figuring things out on my own. Then again, it's not like I've used a database for a game since EQ, but that is more due to game-design giving such detailed descriptions for quests and such that one isn't really required to step outside the game-world for help as much as I did back then. Even when I did use spoiler sites back in the day, I always felt like I was cheating myself a bit, anyway, but damned if EQ didn't require it some times.
That said, if there's a game out right now that would lend itself to having a huge database of information, it is Vanguard, but it doesn't appear that will be happening here anytime soon. It's a pity, because I do feel a bit like a cheating spouse by visiting other gaming sites, even if it's just for the forums, well, especially if it's just for the forums, but that's just the reality of the situation, and I'm the type of guy who takes up with a mistress when his wife stops putting out.
For the OP, I'd recommend checking out Ten Ton Hammer and/or Silky Venom, and there are specific sites out there dedicated to most of if not all the classes, and of course VGCrafters if you like making stuff.
