"Why was thread nuked?" questionFollow

If there was a specific reason, please let me know so I won't do it again, but I wouldn't think a thread on a FF concert would be off topic in the FF forums.

A concert that consists entirely of music played in all FF games including FFxi most definitely relates to in game discussion. If it had not been for that thread which was nearly nuked into oblivion... myself, and many other players of the game may not have been afforded the opportunity to see this. I am very fortunate to have seen this post in the short time it was out and I feel even more fortunate to have been able to help get it bumped back up so others could also learn that this was happening.

How does a thread entitled "Off Topic - proud to be an american" and sooo many other garbage threads that truly have NOTHING AT ALL to do with final fantasy get to stay on the main page for days, yet one directly related to a hugeaspect of what makes FFxi a good game (the music within) get dusted in a 5 minute time frame????

I think the many people who bumped the thread up from -14.00 to over 4.00 would have to agree with me on this one. I was really close to paying annual fees for the site just to support it, not for the added features, please tell me this is not the norm for determining what threads gets nuked. The poster was also a paying member who made a thread directly related to an aspect of final fantasy. When the FF halloween event was going on in LA or wherever (the costume party) there were several threads discussing it, though it's not technically in-game it most definitely is FF related. Furthermore you didn't even move the concert thread to off topic or anywhere else (though it was perfect on main page), you simply buried it, truly uncalled for.
