Checking my post historyFollow

What with all the traffic on these forums, I often have difficulty keeping track of my posts and who has responded to them. The "Your Posts" option under my user account info is an amazing help in this, but I've noticed a problem with it.

When I post in a normal forum (I.e. General discussion, tradeskills, server forums), the post history works just fine and clicking on my post preview in the history will take me to the thread in question. The problem appears if I try to look at a post that I've placed under an item thread or (more problematically) under a job-specific forum. When I click on my post in the history, it simply takes me to a standalone view of my post, with no way to actually view the thread that the post is in.

Now I understand that the discussions under items and quests use a different system than the normal forums, but why will this not work with the Job forums? I do the vast majority of my posting under the FFXI Warrior or BLM / WHM forums, and it's often difficult to locate a post I made even a day or two ago to see if it's been responded to. Is this a glitch that can be fixed or is it just a part of the system that must be lived with?

Thanks in advance for any help or info you can give.

I don't visit the FFXI forums at all, but I had the same question for a while on the EQ site. To view the rest of the threads on the bestiary/item entries on the EQ site, there's a little link just above and tot he left of your post that says "Root thread". Clicking it will show the entire pages threads.
