Most of the time when I post, there is a HUGE amount of blank space between my sig and the end of the post. I double checked to make sure there aren't any extra characters at the end of my signature, and there aren't. What gives?? It makes me look like an idiot who's trying to suck up a large amount of browser real estate.

Ya, like the above post. ARGH! (And probably this one too, after I click Post Message.)

It's 'cause you've got an avatar pic under your name...I've noticed that the post extends either to the end of your post + sig, or the end of your "Info" section if your post is shorter than that area

EDIT: try taking your avatar off, and your added posting title if you want to test it out...it should shorten your post box considerably

Try removing any excess white space from your sig

I put hard return at the start of every post, and a couple of hard returns at the end.

I like it because it separates the content of the post from the top of the box and the sig at the bottom.

Ah, I see. Makes sense, willfoss.

That only happens when your post is short. If you look to the left of your post, there is information of your handle and, of course, the Rate option.

That bar never shrinks, only growns. Thinks of it as a spreadsheet, I guess. (It is, but hey...whatever.)

You only get the excess space if you post short...right now, my sig won't have that problem...but if I double post on purpose....
