Whenever I post a reply or new message, instead of taking me to the thread I clicked on, like normal, it pops up an Emtpy Thread, with this title

posted by a no-named user, with 0 posts. This hasn't started happening until today. I'm using Safari on Mac OS X 10.3.5.

That has happened to me in the past I think 3 times now. All posts I make within about 30 minutes just show up like that and then suddenly everything appears normally. I just ignored it as a lag fluke or something But Im using IE 6.0 on Win 2k and Win XP Pro.
i'm not able to reproduce this. can you give me a sample url?

I've gotten that once or twice with Firefox. It seems to only happen when the servers are really bogged down.
I refresh and it goes away.

Illia, I'll do you one better and give you a screenshot of the bug in action. Got it just a bit ago, and I remembered this thread so I made a screenie. That's under IE6, WinXP Pro without SP2.

I'm going to totally off-topic here to say that I love the skin you are using Sab. Where did you get that? :o
Actually I have gotten that once or twice, but only when the site is really slow.. using firefox and win2k here.
My bet is that it's been uploaded to the master, but the master-slave link is so slow that it hasn't reached the slave fully yet, which is where it reads off of for the display

I use StyleXP to reskin Windows since the default skin for WinXP is just fugly. That's one of the skins I downloaded on their website, the style is called "Sentinel" and it comes in three different colour styles, "Black", "Black2" and "Graphite". The one I'm using is Graphite, because it matches my wallpaper and the skin I use for Sonique. Someone had started a "Show us your desktop!" thread on the FFXI main board, I posted a couple of screenies. I'll link you:

As th e ingredients come to about 155k on my server and a regular mantle only fetches 20k! That's a whopping 135k loss per synth.. Unless you get a HQ which sells for 650k. Hence why i am asking.. ^^

<br>So, I figure you hit level 100 leathercraft, get advanced synth support, synth on the appropriate moon phase and day, you should have the highest chances of getting a HQ synth.

My friend is a level 85 and he does it 1 out 7 times I believe on the new moon days where HQ is predicted. He only still does this because he knows he will make up for the huge loss in gil by making a HQ item. The regular amenit manltes are down to 9k now! I remember buying mine for 80k a couple months ago. and the +1 are 700k now down from 1M. My LS and other HNM LS's have noticed that their has been a huge rise of bot campers and gil farmers in that area killing amenit like no tommorrow. So they have pretty much killed the profit from it and reduced the earnings you can get from it. Another month they will stop camping it because they have screwed up their own profit margin by flooding and undercutting too much for the crafters. Got the same error on three different browsers. The Scalar error in the parenthesis changes though.

I did it twice now. Once in the WAR forums and once here trying to describe just what I did (this is technically a double post. My last post just isn't appearing). The error appears on three different browsers, by the way. Here's the URL of the first post that got the error.

Now, let me describe what I did, and apparently what triggered the problem, since it screwed up here too. I was trying to make a link stand out, so I nested the following tags. I'm using {} brackets since using normal brackets seems to trigger the glitch even if the tags aren't closed.

Now I've nested all those before except the {lg} tag and not had any trouble at all. Maybe it's a size formatting issue that's triggering it?
By the way, the post previewed fine just before I posted it. I click "Post Message" and nothing happens. I get kicked back to the original thread and no new post has been added and the thread had not been bumped. I got to the link by looking up my post history under User Account, which now lists TWO posts that don't exist.

Same glitch when I tried to post this. THEN I simply tried posting a simple one-line phrase with no links or formatting and it happened again. I usually use Mac OSX Safari to browse and post on Allakhazam, but today it's refusing to post at all. Internet Explorer won't even recognize I'm logged in. Here's hoping this goes through now using Netscape...
