Would there ever be plans to be able to use [img][/img] tags on Alla?

This place lags bad as it is. Banners would be nice, but the way people post around here, there would be way too many full screen pics in posts that would lag the site even more.
Maybe if it was a premium only feature it would be possible, I dunno though, I haven't had any experience in high-traffic forums or webpage design.
