I am being Karma camped.

I know because all the posts I can find are being rated down.

In this instance, I actualy got ratted down for praising someone in their own journal.

I realy want to be a part of this community, help when I can, and have fun, but I'm realy sick of being punished for nothing.

The karma system realy does nothing but aggrivate me, and no matter how many times I hear people say Karma is stupid and shouldn't bother you, I have to ask.

If you got slapped in the face 90% of the time you said something, would you enjoy talking any more?

Hundreds of helpful posts, get passed by with no ratings, step out of line for a second, fart in the wind, and people will crush you.

It's just not entertaining.

Yea, In one thread I rated someone who rated me.

But that is no excuse for why my karma in every visible thread should be nuked.

This is not a friendly community, and quite frankly, I find your reply unhelpful, and worthless.

Someone has gone out of their way to rate my posts into oblivion, and that is fine with the administration???

What good is having a forum, where people communicate with eachother, if they are punished for doing so?

This place has brought way too much aggrivation to me.

And I think your reply has pushed me over the top.

I say thank you, and I hope nobody else here ever needs your help, or they infact too, might find an extra 12$ a month in their checking account.

No. you are just pissed that you rated someone down and they figured it out. You currently have less 1 ratings than you have given out to other people, yet you have the gall to complain? out of 1200 posts, you have only 30 1 ratings. even if they were all from the same person, (which they are not)that isn't enough to significantly move your karma.

Just because you pay for premium doesn't give you the right to complain when people you yourself have rated down return the favor.

Cool by me. I just said who rated him down in that thread.

Actually, journal ratings don't do anything, so I'd like to know why people bother.

Well, I guess payback is a *****. I got some crazy karma camping in just a few hours. Eh, no worries.

Okay, If we are talking about the 3rd link in my original post, you have to understand that Grumpywookie rated down my first 3 posts because he disagreed with me, I in return rated his forst 3 posts down, and told him I was.

He then in return, found other posts by me, and rated them down, which is intentional karma camping.

Besides the point, You forget that almost anybody can rate in this place, and I bet 90% of the rating is some little punk rating down a post for an opinion they didn't like.

70% of the people in the thread could agree with me, and not rate me up, but the 30% who dont, will rate me down, I see it all the time, and anybody who gives a crap about their karma, WILL be punished.


And, it DID move my karma, I am now a Scholar once again (I would think with all your high and mighty Administrative powers you would know the score necesary to be a scholar).

Lastly, you have not built a friendly invironment, I dare not join any thread where there is debate, it seems the only good threads karma wise are the ones bashing newbs and etc.. which I find to be a load of crap, the point being you are not allowed to have an opinoon in this place.





1) No, I'm pissed that someone went out of their way to rate me down in places and on posts that provoked no such rating.

2) The gall to complain? The fact that I don't enjoy this place any more because I am so often punished for having an opinion by your broken karma systen, then post about it in the FEED BACK forum, and be told by the administration that I have the "Gall." And I doubt you noticed that I have handed out much more posative karma than negative.

3)The lack of help I found, when I felt I had a problem, and in return being called names is why I have decided not to renew my subscription here, alass, I am a moron and payed ahead, if only I could quit now and get my years wasted money back.

In return, I hope people see this thread, so if something like this ever happens, they know better then to ask for assistance.

Thank you for what has been a more than frustrating experience, I'll be sure to NOT recomend this site to firends
