I'm pissed for the same reason Lauren is. I could care less about my average rating, but I'm really sick of these ****** teenagers that rate you down simply because they see your name or picture. They don't read the post.

No-rate them, so they'll actually have to explain what they don't like about the people they do this to, and the posts that they are doing this to.

I don't want a comeback or a pithy "Should I rate you down too?" post. I want actual research. I am a paying customer, and I'll bet that a good share of the campers on this site are not. I've also made sure that a lot of other paying customers are paying attention to this, and have asked them to rate my rant up, since the campers will likely rate it down, (yes the rant does include foul language, and after the experiment is over, I'll edit it.).

I'm with Mav. I'm going to only post in my journal and in the Asylum from now on, though I don't usually go into the latter forum and actually write things.

I'll also still use this forum when needed.

I will still be reading on the FFXI boards, just not posting there. I'd like my rating priviledges back for use in my journal, and will not use them anywhere else... I'm fed up with the rating crap.

I will also edit my rant this evening, after more people have had a chance to read it.

I'm sick of this happening to the people who don't have any paddind, and I understand that with the staff you've got it's not possible to effectively moderate all of the forums on this site.

I'll wait on those rating rights though. I might stay in the main board after all. We'll know either way soon enough.
