i request quick reply be added. it would make posting alot faster and easier.

What the hell is quick reply?

im not sure what these boards are run on whether its of their own programming or vbulletin or ibb or something. but anyways quick reply usually is a function that allows at the bottom of the last post in a thread for a more exacted "post reply page" instead of it being a page its at the bottom of the screen and doesnt consist of the full post reply functions hence it beign called a quick reply. its usually just a text field and a post movie button. it makes it alot quicker and easier to reply to and for users on slower connections makes the hassle of thread jumping/postig alot easier.

Edit: Ugh. I didn't even realize this was necroposted by someone. Sorry, I just woke up and my desire to respond all informative-like overrided the fact I should've checked the post dates.

Anyway, here's one example of a "Quick Reply" box, which is a majority PHPBB thing ...

... not really that big of a deal. Just a "I can post without clicking Reply!" thing.
