GATOR and this website...Follow

Is this site being funded also by GATOR? Everytime I visit this site away from my personal computer, I get tons of pop ups. When I'm at home, I have spyware detecting software installed and when I run a check there's a change in my registry (of all places ><) made by the GATOR company that allows them to flood me with pop-ups AND tracks my internet usage. I've pinpointed where this is coming from and it seems to happen only after I have visited this site. I don't really know how my registry is getting changed other than having some malicious first-party cookie from this site (I have all other cookie types denied in IE). So could someone tell me what's going on? This will probably get deleted by the administrator but I hope not because people should know what is and is not happening with their favorite sites.

As far as I have been able to determine, we don't have any gator ads running. I have them blocked through our three major advertisers. Occasionally a smaller advertiser sneaks one in and I block it as soon as it is brought to my attention. If you're getting gator constantly like that, it can't be coming from here. I am not sure where it could be from.

I'll run a check too, but I've found that you are much more likely to get gator from an ezboard than here. Plus allakhazam is really good about deleting them when someone brings them to his attention.

Just finished the check, and there are in fact a few gator type adds showing up. Looks like maybe valuclick or Fortune city. I just e-mailed allakhazam the ad source and page source.

Thanks for checking this out for me. I was sure that the ads were coming from this site though since I tested it by removing the the registry entry before coming to the site and then would check it directly after being on the site and the GATOR entry would pop back up again. Thanks for hearing me out...
