the Weightings are intended so that an anonymous poster needed to be scored down twice to be removed from the default view.
Non-Anon posters needed to be rated down a few more times, I'll have to play with the weightings.
Either way, dealing with the posts like those pointed out here - and allowing the users on the site to self-moderate is the goal of the moderation system. Let us know if you want threads killed, but rate them too - the more data I can see, the more I can set the weightings right to kill the crap.

Well, considering they can probably see who rates them, i'm guessing your account would start to have strange errors, double posts, dissappearing posts, strange forum view issues... Hey wait a minute!
Actually, i'm of the opppinion that the Admins should be a 5.0 karma by default, so for the new ones at least I've been trying to bump them up there. It takes a while though. I just feel strange having the ol' 5.0 over there when some of the moderators are lower. They should get 5.0's hardcoded.

Darkflame has been doing a very good job of nuking things too, so make sure you give her a big thatnk you. I think you would be suprised just how many gil for sale adverts she has nuked.

Well...I know that I've noticed plenty of work on Darkflame's part during the week (M-F 8-4), because I do nothing but troll the boards during that time. (Who needs to work). Thanks for the help Darkflame. Hey, and if there's any interest, I'd be willing to help mod during those hours stated above.
Ever since its been brought to their attention the admins have been doing an excellent job killing these kinds of threads. Im not one to see threads kicked or censored, but I pay for premium service to not see ads. And that includes ads by posters as well as far as Im concerned.
