FFXI FOLDER LOCATION WINDOWS 7 :: World of Warcraft

I am having so much difficulty with this... i have even searched google for the answer and no one seems to be able to help. why the hell cant i find out where FFXI is installed. steam wont give me a folder location and neither will my computer. all it shows me is the PoL and tetra viewer folders but theres no ffxi folder. What is the default folder location for where the game is installed
i searched my comp for it but it only gives me shortcuts. I nee to find the ffxi config utility and steam gives u the wrong one. Why didnt the creators of this game make the config in-game like all other games do instead of make it so complex that its impossible to find without web help

There is a separate config in game to fine tune the resolution. I believe the external config is done that way to permit registry setting changes.

Mine is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ToolsUS\Final Fantasy XI Config.exe

I'm not sure where Steam puts it.
