Now that you have your attention turned to meaningless aesthetic changes, please revamp the spell list. Spells used to follow a logical order (School->Element->Tier), until the cap was raised to 80. Now, for example, Regen IV is past the songs.
I can't have macros for some of the very (VERY) situational spells, which means I have to CTRL+M. Would be nice if I could find white magic near the other white magic, instead of having to scroll down, scrambling as my party members get pummeled, or a proc is needed.

Thanks in advance.

That'd be very nice change, but till then... Magic (the same menu that has check) > white magic, shows only white magic and only spells you can use with current job/subjob. Personally I prefer typing the spells I don't have macros for tho, I never find them in spell list even when they're logically grouped. >.> Yes, I'm looking at you flash, where are you?! Why can't you sort with the rest of divine spells? Also, sacrifice >.>

You can manually re-order the spells. My gripe is that if I auto-sort one type of spell (e.g. Songs), it auto-sorts all the other types too (e.g. Ninjutsu, that I have ordered in a very specific manner).

Same problem. I had my whm spells sorted. Then I auto-sorted new songs. Order gone. Then I had to autosort blu spells that I'd actually find the proc spells in reasonable time in VW. Whm order gone again! Then I gave up and just typed the ones I don't have macros for.

While true, my client seems to have a problem remembering the order, so sometimes it will erase for no apparent reason. Also, I usually abuse manual to the point of having to autosort on occasion, so stuff like Addle gets lost. This is a major problem since I have all mage jobs leveled. It's a huge list.

Actually, I think they should revamp it entirely, not only order, so you only see whatever spells you can actually cast with CTRL+M. This is a much better thing than high res numbers and whatnot, I'm surprised they didn't correct it by now.

Manual ordering is the way to go. Took a while to get everything where i liked it, but it's absolutely perfect now. Vastly superior to the auto-sort list, even before spells were mixed up at the bottom.

List Blue spells by element, with the top 4 of them being used for triggers in VW, and you never have a problem setting them rapidly again. You can list buffs in one row. Attacks in another. Group spells you use a lot together (my flash and phalanx for instance are right under my Cures).

The only thing they -could- do that might help, is make a separate list, showing only the spells currently available to you, without going through a weird menu combination as you need to do now. And then still they're categorized. In the heat of battle i have no time to think if my spell was white or black magic.
