The Eldieme Necropolis GatesFollow

I would like to suggest a couple of ways for players to be able to either activate or pass through the gates in The Eldieme Necropolis.



The first suggestion is a quest that rewards us with the ability to remote activate the switches when we are standing at the closed gates.



The second would be to have some type of Past/Present phase that can be triggered at those doors; something similar to the Mandragora glowing circles that allow us to pass between things in the present that only existed in the past, like Gate 2 in Garlaige Citadel or in North Gustaberg going from the west side of the zone to the east side. Since the doors are still working in the present, that is not the same situation as all of those glowing circle Mandragora spots (since those allow us to pass through parts that were destroyed). But, having something with a temporary disruption in time to allow us to pass through on our own in some form is the general idea of this suggestion.



Either of these would work for everyone, I think. Many of the quests and items that are found in there are done so at higher levels where we dont need to ask for help to farm or search. However, we still need to ask for help in getting to those spots. Personally, I hate asking for help to open these doors because that is all the help I need. I no longer need help killing the monster, or farming my keys for chests, or navigating around. I just need someone to open the door. And, to me, that is no longer needed in this zone for people at max level.

How about just permanently leaving all of those gates open?

That would work too.

I have a tendency to over complicate solutions, and this simple one never entered my mind as a possibility.

Considering the state of both the present day Necropolis and Garlaige as being overrun by undead and other creatures it makes sense for the gates to be passable. They could be stuck open or have gaping holes we can pass through.
