I would say a thing about mythic weapons: developers help us to get it easily because who doesn't start to collect requirements in the past now has a lot of problems:
1) alexandrite is impossible to gauge due to then fact that salvage has lost interest by players
and is very hard to find a LS that makes run (will be cool if alexandrite is dropped in abyssea in every way and the number required should be lowered because with the new items lv 75+ ,equipment and mog house slots are not enough to collect it)
2)assaults is now forgotten by players so same problems of salvage
3)I think that a new set of mythic tasks adjustements will give to FFXI new interest

Still say the Alexandrite requirement needs to be scrapped entirely. Simply due to how Assault tags work, unless someone has a stockpile of Nyzul tokens built beforehand, you're looking at at least 100 days minimum to repeat the 50 main assaults and then build tokens for the wyrmseeker portion.

One thing that might help would be to remove the minimum party member requirement from nyzul salvage, and assaults, allowing for solo/duo forays. As the level cap rises, it would be easier and easier to lowman these events, and with reduced demand, it shouldn't be a huge burden on the servers.

It would also help if ??? items actually appraised into the good stuff more than 0.02% of the time. <,<

I think this is a fantastic idea, there's no reason not to do it! While they're at it, they should remove the 6-person limit for Salvage as well. Why not let people enter with less? I've already completed my mythic, but I agree with this thread that I just don't see it as being feasible anymore because no one does Salvage or any of that other content. You don't need 6 people to enter Dynamis, why require 6 for Salvage?
