This quest really, really sucks.

I got it in 1/1 tries, but my husband has gone 0/3 with dud powder kegs.

Also, the fishing part is awful. We spent 2 hours in Abyssea trying to fish up the Brine Crabs. You only get a bite 1 in every 10 casts or so (I have fishing levelled, my husband does not but this did not seem to change). And the drop item is not 100%. We killed about 25 crabs in those two hours and got 4 drops total.

It takes far too long to do with time being limited in Abyssea. I would prefer to see the item be 100% drop (or at least 50%) or no dud kegs.

Due to the horrible dependance on luck to complete this quest succesfully with an item, i'd like to see the name of the quest changed into "Dropping the F Bomb".

I dont mind killing monsters.
I dont mind killing monsters for hours.
I dont mind killing monsters for hours for a low % drop.
I dont mind killing monsters for hours for a low % drop and trading that in for another item.

I do however mind if you have to redo the quest over and over because the item you got turned out to be a fake/dud/broken/not acceptable item for the quest.

I dont know why SE still makes us go through this. They should know by now we're here to stay. They dont have to make these timesinks to force us. It will only turn badly sooner due to that.
