Could you give us the option to buy forbidden keys in pre-assembled stacks from the NPCs? It takes a looooooooong time to finish even one stack. One little extra menu option will make a lot of us a little happier.

(You could also make them stack to 99, that'd be cool too.)

To a lesser extent, it'd be nice for HQ crystals as well.

I thought of this exact thing when I saw the subject. However, the trend seems to be going away from signed gear. You can't have a signature on a piece of gear AND have augmented stats on it at the same time. And new craftable gear seems to be exclusively made through Synergy, for which you don't even use crystals, let alone HQ crystals.

At least Abyssea is new, and the popularity of Abyssea and Forbidden Key usage isn't likely to go down any time soon. So giving players the option to buy 12 keys at once would be very well received by the player base.

That's true. That still leaves us with aesthetics gear (i.e. beastmen hats), some food, low lvl gear for a friend that won't get much out of augmenting it anyway, and/or some high-end gear that's not yet obsolete with some being too expensive for most to risk augmenting it. I won't deny that it's the minority, and the crystals being not as frequently used in comparison. So I suppose the better suggestion is to allow us to choose the amount of imperial coins we want to purchase at a time.

This. Times ten.

Or even just moving keys to the top of the purchase list. Armor is something you'll buy once and that's it. It's rare, even if you're selling it, you have to dump it and come back.

Keys are something you will want to buy repeatedly. If we can't get stacks, at least put it in a more convenient spot?

If one didn't know better, the 100 devs working on XIV returned and they finally had more than 2 people working on the updates.

It is funny how abyssea is the only part of XI that is done right, and yet the stone access part would have to go to make the game perfect.

Maybe abyssea access will be free once we get Heroes of Abyssea and defeat the big boss? Several key items can be obtained that increase the amount of stones you get (3 -> 5), the time you get for them (30 -> 33min), and the recharge time (20 -> 16h), so eventually it might be free.

As much as I hate to use logic on a forum, I'm going to make some assumptions and logic based guesses.
Somewhere in the Scars zones is a mob that will drop an abysite that will knock recharge time down another 4hrs. Making it 12hrs per stone. Like the tonberries in the last zones, these mobs may not have been popped yet, or they may be up and noone has fought them yet. Using that logic, there will be another key item in the final abyssea zones that will take another 4hrs off, making it 12hrs per stone.
Following the same path, there is an abysite somewhere also right now that will give an extra 3mins to your stones. Neither of them have been found.

While I don't expect them to make time free in the zones, I'm going to make a small leap and say that once the final 3 zones are released, there will be a way to carry 6 stones, have stones regen every 8hrs and get an extra 9mins per stone, all by key items that will eventually be found. It's a nice way for SE to tie all 3 together and make sure if you want the max time, you gotta buy all 3 expansion packs. As well, I'm sure, they'll put the last two pieces of jse armor in them too.
