I would have loved this back when RMT were buying a ton of light crystals because I would have made even more gil back in the day. Oh well. I support the idea though, would make synthing COR cards a viable option maybe, as opposed to buying them from NPC.

yea I just happen to have like 10 water clusters waiting for me to craft with lol. I just want some room to breath in my mog safe.

There is no reasons for clusters in this game. The only way to make there existence mean anything is to have them stack!

This gets the Seedling Seal of Approval!

But why stop at clusters..

Why not make all raw crafting materials stackable to 12? Logs, ores, bones, hides.

Also, lumber involved with arrows&bolts should stack to 99 to match the other 99able ingredients in the recipes.

Chocobo related items should stack to 99 (greens, carrots, medicines, etc). I'm a bit tired of having to turn my mogsafe in a chocobo feedstock to hold all the tokopekko wildgrass.

(It's been months and chocobo raising reports still can't display recommended medicines properly... but that's for a different thread.)

I think most of that is unstackable because you should be rewarded for the ability to synth them into a stackable type.

Logs -> Lumber or whatever the system uses means that someone who can craft can farm more wood than others.

Changing it to logs stacking would mean you benefit more from NOT synthing them since you can carry more that way.


So while I'd love to stack ores etc I do see a purpose with not being able to. It makes being a crafter more worth it.

Not really. It's mainly dead because of the unstackability of clusters, meaning 1) I can't really farm for any appreciable length of time before running out of space and 2) all the clusters are a PITA to sell on the AH. Stacking them would solve both problems. Satchel would help, but that only solves problem #1.

farming wasnt my concern the AH was my concern. Why is it we have stacks of crystals on the AH than we have clusters on the AH? there both the exact same thing. It just doesnt make sense! Than I thought well the way to make clusters have a meaning on the AH would be so people could buy more at a time hence stacking them.

Some Clusters can be used for crafts/Quests... but other then that I totally agree , would make my life easier (and add another way to make gils for me).

It depend on what/when to farm really , Only reason I dont farm anymore is time (Double shifts almost daily yay!) otherwise I'd double or triple my daily income.
