Skill Speed (at least @ 50) is actually quite worthless for DRG, as it requires substantial amounts to be of any use - you would be drawing from other stats, and still not making much of a dent (MNK, with Greased Lightning, is a different story). Accuracy only seems to come into play in the Coil of Bahamut (not there yet myself), if you are fighting same-level stuff. Crit is self-explanatory, and Determination is like a generic "power" stat, in that it boosts all actions (damage & healing), but has a higher stat budget than other secondary stats - so you might get +11 Acc/SS/Crit on a piece, or +6 Det in the same space.
I haven't actually been using much food in 50 stuff, as (not being a CUL) it can be quite expensive for decent food, and with it vanishing on death, it is often a waste. Even while levelling, I just used a corresponding cheap vendor food, mainly for the +3% EXP boost, rather than the stats. My preference is +Crit or +Det, but I don't have any stats to back that up.
Long Story short. I am doubting (a little) the value of food in XIV. In XI it was necessary as you were usually fighting mobs 4-8 levels higher than you, and the fights were controlled, so death wasn't a huge concern. Unless you are regularly farming mobs 3+ levels higher than you in XIV for levels/FATEs (in which case +Acc is good), it's a bit of a wash.
