He's singing about being tacky, and all I can think is how much I'd like that jacket for Christmas.

All I saw was a bunch of clothing I'd actually wear together...because I'm odd (tacky) like that.

Are you Bijou? Cause only a blind man would wear any of that.

I'm pretty happy about a good version of the day two song.

Also Weird Al is doing/did an AMA on reddit. The video for Tacky is apparently one continuous shot.

I don't know what happened, but none of the videos will play, or even show up, in Chrome. Edit: Now it works.

Second song is way better than the first. The song it parodies is better, and the topic is so much more relevant. Going to play this non-stop when I start working again. I don't care if the kids throw up 200 days into it, they're going to learn the damn difference between irony and coincidence.

yes.

I've always wore off the wall clothing. Being the biggest person in the room is never enough.

You know it's possible to make a (loud) statement with your clothes without looking like you rolled around in the rotting remains of the 80's, right?

So no to the neon color jelly bean shirt I have? Wish I had a pic of me in it.

I've been trying to find a tracksuit big enough to fit me. Neon Windbreaker style, straight from the 90s would be best.

Don't be absurd. Even dead for thirty years, all that hairspray used perfectly preserved the corpse.

Today's song went in a direction I didn't expect. Didn't think much of the song itself, though.

Have to admit, Weird Al looks pretty good for 54!

So far I've enjoyed "Word Crimes" the most out of the three. The style of the video (kinetic typography) is fantastic, the song is catchy, and it's educational. "Foil" is next on my list because I have several tinfoil-hat conspiracy theorist relatives, and Tacky was good but not great.

If you enjoyed "Word Crimes" and like Jonathan Coulton, the same video producer made an excellent video to go with "Shop Vac" a few years ago!

Speaking of word crimes, what the hell is the point of a sentence diagram? I tried reading the Wiki article, but it hurt my head.

Busy work for students.

New Song: Not particularly catchy to me. Anyone else hoping for the polka entry to get a video?

I liked it. But the wife throws on VH1 in the mornings and I've seen too much of Fancy.

That might be it. I don't spend much time getting to hear newer music so haven't built up a tolerance for it I imagine. It's not even that it's bad, just not really clicking with me. This album seems to be heavy pop music. Today's song is a march, which to me sounds more in-line with what I'm accustomed to with the Weird One.

Also, this came on after.
