...move to Denmark, not Togo.

That's what the thingy says. Feel free to look down the list (pages 22 - 24) so you can find out where all the happy people live, and of course be glad you weren't born in Sub-Saharan Africa. As if you needed another reason for that.

Probably because you're all too drunk to be unhappy.

And 4th, it's probably our politicians are either brown nosing Brussels or whining about others brown nosing Brussels that took us down a spot.

I'm surprised the UK is only 22. British people seem to be happiest when they're complaining; should have been an easy #1.

But I suppose, once you add in Scotland, Wales, and Ireland, they should just be relieved they're not 100 places lower...

Well, the primary issues with Canada all stem from the same source most countries ***** for: Politics.

Otherwise, Canada is ******* awesome.

The Scottish are unhappy when in Scotland, and when outside Scotland they're even worse because they're then pining for Scotland 24/7.

I'm turning Scottish a bit. Smiley: mad

I stopped drinking whisky in Scotland. I had some in Utrecht, though.

Also, I still haven't had that bottle of Crabbies that I've been on about for over a month now.

I can't even get Crabbies because (a) I have just enough time to wind down before bed once I'm out of the library at night, and (b) grad school applications are overpriced.

My husband and I could pick up tomorrow, move to Denmark, and be allowed to hang out for two years no-questions-asked because we've got enough socked away in savings and the right education/experience to be considered attractive. (I lose an edge in about a year when I turn thirty five, though.)

We talked about doing it and starting up a website or something, but then I got the job that I'm at right now (*cough* I've run out of work to do this morning already) and he's considered a shoe-in for tenure, so we changed our minds.

You should go there on holiday instead then. LEGOland is cool and they make good beer in Scandinavia (and most of western Europe really).

Fwiw, if he's far enough along tenure track you could wait a bit, it transfers pretty well between countries from what I've seen.

We shall keep that in mind for when Obamacare destroys the nation and precipitates the zombie apocalypse.
