...if it helps, everyone I've met is shocked when I tell them I'm 30 and I feel younger too. So, there's that.

I am 31 and my last gf was a beautiful muletta that was all of 19 years old.

Yup, I'm that good.

When you're dating 19 yr olds, you're hanging on a little close to the line where someone could lie to you and they're not 19.

You don't happen to drive an Altima with a 6 disc changer do you?

Update: I have been dating this chick now for about a month or more. We aren't official but apparently neither of us are dating anyone else either. She texts pretty regularly and calls a few times a week. Then, this Friday we went out, had a great time, she slept over, and we texted most of the day Saturday. Sunday rolls around and between then and now I've probably received like 3 texts total from her and her response times to my texts are in the range of hours. There's no indication when we're hanging out that she isn't interested, quite the contrary actually. I don't get it....

..I guess that is the downfall of dating a 22 year old?

Just ask her if she wants to make the relationship serious, if not then ask if she wants to be ****-buddies and work your way up from there.

It all depends on what you are looking for. If you want something truly serious, and she's flaking out, sit her down and ask her.

Sounds pretty nice actually... Smiley: glare

I got no clue really, but it sounds like you're over thinking it. But I was always one to encourage telling me everything, so I didn't have to play the "what's she thinking?" game. Can be the lesser of two evils.

When you're dating a 19 year old do you ask for proof of age before sex?

I don't see how response times to text messages is an age related thing.

A proper 19 year old would have their Birth Certificate tattooed on both their back and stomach.

I guess I don't either. I think it more or less meant that the age thing might cause someone who seems really interested to suddenly and for no reason go "meh, I'm not into it anymore." I guess that can happen with anyone, but probably more likely to happen with younger people?

The age of a person doesn't dictate their commitment to a relationship. It does mean they could have less life experience to draw from in order to handle relationship issues. I cannot comment on your relationship. I don't know you. I don't know her. However, if you want my take..

Something's changed. Something's happened either during her time with you, or something is happening in her life. Her focus isn't you or the relationship. That's why I suggested pursuing where this is going if you think it's going somewhere and you are serious about it.

Plausible deniability is a valid defense.

I suppose over time people have learned to assume certain things are just part of every normal healthy relationship. Notice there's no suggestions about using quality restraints or tips on choosing latex undergarments either.

Definitely does take some of the fun out of it though. Smiley: frown
