I used to own a motorcycle, but I totaled it on the 10. Luckily walked away pretty much unharmed (Hurt my knee a little, but nothing broken)

A fish is nice, too.

The Black Hills were frequently on our 'out west' vacation itinerary when I was a kid. The Passion Play aside, I have less vivid memories of the actual hills than I do of Wall Drug, alligator wrestlers, Jelly Stone, Mt. Rushmore etc....

Not a motorcycler, nor ever been to the Sturgis Rally. I don't think it's the kind of thing I'd enjoy.

Maybe might have once upon a time, but I've become far too paranoid about leg injuries to motorcycle now.

I find that statement amusing.

Probably because they're just hills, only really notable because they're in the middle of a big flat area. It's all the other stuff in the area that's interesting.

We made it all the way to California once.

I've thought about getting a motorcycle. With a four mile commute, it's actually reasonable.

I'd have to learn to ride it first, though.

I ride. I've never been to Sturgis, at least not during the rally. I went through a week later once and bought a t-shirt. I've been to a few local rallys that are much more low key, it's always a good time.

I have thought of going, but never made it a priority. I know people who've went, and seen ample footage about it. One former colleague trashed his ride out there, ended up going around a bend and another biker slid into him after losing control, he nearly lost his leg by gashing it to the bone, shattered it, and they had to ***** it back together. That's why I'm a little wary, you get that many bikers together, some of them drinking heavily, and accidents and fatalities are bound to happen.

I ride but I don't think I would ever ride to Sturgis, I have been to Laconia a few times but via car not uncaged.
