Meh. there are standards, and they are a touch higher/more strict than the US, I've seen/tasted the difference between the two. But food standards are super lax in reality across the globe. Do you know that meat in the US and Canada can be re-dated and sold? And that some food waste can be reconditioned for sale as well?
