.. for Zam. Think we may see an influx of new members on the boards? I mean Im surprised Zam didnt offer Gamebreaker TV a forum since they share many of the same hosts (Lore, Mikeb) . I think getting a few new faces in would be a good thing. Since Mike has a pretty decent following he should be able to get a decent amount of hits.

You never watched Zams BFF report?

Lore was the head of Tankspot or the top mod or something, Hes the one who put all the raid videos together mostly. Lore also did a bunch of other Wow related content (Legendary Show, Weekly marmot, PST) he got a job at Blizzard as the new Community Manager. I mean you cant load into wow.zam.com without seeing a huge picture of lore for the last few months, since the mods been putting his videos up.

Honestly Mikeb would fit in perfectly here. Their weekly community streaming was, get lots of booze get together and stream til you pass out, Playing Multiplayer games with random people from chat. But like I said in my op Zam hired him on as the new Media content manager. Pretty much hes the one thats going to put all the video content together for Zam.

I would guess that 90% of us have a direct bookmark to the forums and never look at the front page, much less read/view the content.

I did watch his report/review of the Going Rogue CoH expansion back in the day and found him entertaining/informative in it which is more than I can say for most of the YouTube game reviewers people obsessively fawn over.

Yeah I guess Im weird then. I have the Main Wow as my start bookmark. I just choose live forum updates from there with the boards Im watching that day then goto another tab. I guess its habit from when WoW Zam had more up to date content on forum front pages. I even wrote a few bad stories that were up there for WoW. Its a habit I carried over from FFXI board I guess, I just never though i would be one of the only ones /shrug.

But yeah I used to watch BFF report and a few others as something to do and liked the way he set up his content. Also that he wasnt mouth breathing into a mic weezing while talking about a game like a bunch of other youtubers, and wasnt afraid to pretty much rip into a game if it deserved it (FF14).

You are weird. I have individual bookmarks to all the forums here I visit, despite knowing the forum number for all of them. It just makes it that much easier to browse.

Mine is directly to the Live Forum Updates. I don't particularly care about MMO news.

I just type a little 'e' into my address bar and hit enter.

Magically I'm transported to =4. If I want to visit OOT I just change the 4 to 28. 5 for the movie/tv forum and 22 for games. That's all one really needs.

Occasionally however I do end up at zam.com. Yesterday I attempted to watch the video they were displaying on the front page. It's a new person, or at least this is a new task. She's explaining how she's taking over something from and old person who went to Turbine. Then she talked about a card collecting game. It was all very cryptic. Also she kept looking sideways at whomever was there giving her direction. Also her hair was in her eye and she talked way too fast (understandably, she was nervous as this appeared to be her first one of these video update thingies). I did learn that she has lots of WoW accounts, including two 'main' accounts.

I even play WoW currently, but never visit those forums. I do use that theme though mostly because it's what I'm used to after all those years.

I have the urge to play WoW again but I know it's just a mix of nostalgia and wanting some distraction so I won't do it. I do miss the sense of wonder from discovering a new world though.

I have the main WoW page as my starting bookmark, but that's mostly because I wrote stuff for there back then during the time; you know when. So I read the articles on occasion and was generally aware that he was a guy who did a WoW web video thing. Though I've never watched any of the videos (nothing against the guy, just part of a general trend on my part), and really didn't know that much more about it.

Actually, I've been having a lot of fun in Pandaria. I'd recommend giving it a shot. I think you can get a free week, and with Scroll of Resurrection can probably start experiencing Pandaria right away (not sure if it puts you to 80 or 85 now...).

I only have the WoW class forum bookmarked, for the Bored Druid Thread. From there I just click to the cross-site listing and see if there was a post in any other forums I'm interested in going to.

But with my browser history, all I really need to do is type in the title, if that's what I want.

I just type ff into my browser and it shows all the forums I traffic. It's nothing if not efficient.
