Just got a verbal offer over the phone, for $2,000 more than I had asked for. 
Waiting for the formal contract offer to come in email.
Ironically, y'all are like the 7th or 8th to find out since I'm at Seishun-con and half a dozen teenagers in anime costumes heard me scream "I GOT IT" once I was off the phone.

I'm in limbo right now, waiting for them to finish the background check and drug testing and whatnot. It's really depressing, because I'm a goodie goodie two-shoes, so anything the background checks turns up that is sketchy is not really me. 
I kind of miss my relatively unique maiden name.
Edit: Minutes after I typed this, I got a notice that my background check has cleared and I'm starting Monday.
