Bees are nasty, but down where my brother lives in TN, they have these red wasps. They are super aggressive, highly territorial, and pesticide resistant. They also have this nasty habit of swarming on someone if you try to take them out from too close.

I helped take down a nest with him once. It was insane. The second the chemical hit the nest, they swarmed and tried attacking the spray. Then they seem to realize the spray was coming from somewhere and started following the spray back to us.

Literally we had to spray for a few seconds then move...

He lives in the sticks near Nashville. "Near Nashville" is being generous, closest town is Murfreesboro. Woodbury is actually closer.

But yea, **** those things. That article says they are docile then corrects itself because of some new ********* breed that showed up and crossbred in.

To add to the creep: They set out sentries. Like, you will see about 4-6 around any given nest, and if you go close, they watch you, all turning in your direction, watching you. They rotate out. It's ******* scary ****.
