I support the 2nd Amendment, as long as it's not MY woodchuck.

Because 64 ounces of homebrew will do retarded things to a person. Ask your wife.

It was a poor and cheap coffee, but the taste was decent, 7% ABV, and a **** ton of caffeine. 5 weeks of primary fermentation 2 weeks of bottle conditioning.

So basically, a better tasting alternative to the old Four Loko? Smiley: lol

Jeez, that's a pretty efficient operation you've got going. My wife and I are lucky to brew 1 a month.

I forgot about the Chocolate Stout.

The only reason we don't do more is because we haven't jumped to a kegging system. That's coming though.

Meeting Bill Murray and Chris Elliot in a dinner. The original story is in the Asylum I believe. I'll never get over Chris' reaction.

Why on Earth would you want to clone that swill?

PBR is on par with Natural Light and has been favored by homeless alcoholics for decades. Some New York hipsters start drinking it to be ironic and now it's in every bar I see. I just don't get it.

Where I am, we have Narragansett Lager. It's around $4.50 for a six-pack of tallboys, and isn't terrible. That's the cheapest I'm willing to go. Though in college, jug wine and 30-racks of PBR were a cheap way to make sure there would be enough alcohol at a party, and usually only got opened when people were past the point of caring how terrible they were.

New Yorkers understand that the rest of the world wants to be like us, so we started spreading the rumor that PBR is awesome in an ironic way. Lo and behold.

Well, here in Iowa, we actually drink it. It's heads and above better than Busch Light and the same price, so it all makes sense. And when you're having a BBQ for 50 people, a keg of that swill goes fast.

Bill Murray comes across as cool as heck if you take in his entire movie oeuvre, especially that cute little zombie flick in which he plays himself. I'd have to google Chris Elliot. What did you do to skeeve Mr Elliot out?

I don't know why the gods damned forum search is only going back to 2010. At any rate, years ago I met Bill Murray and Chris Elliot at a dinner and as I was waking out of the restaurant and I had to stop and get Bill's autograph. While I was gushing over him (cause it's Bill Murray, naturally you have to) Chris is sitting there looking dejected and he goes "Hey, I'm Chris Elliot." and I **** my head back and go "Yea, that's great..." and go back to gushing on Bill.

Chris looked like I just punched his childhood puppy.

It was a sublime moment.

That's the gist of it at any rate. It's been a long time since I've even thought of that encounter, so if anyone can find the original post (I don;t know, 2006 maybe, 2007?) feel free to correct me.
