Weather has been perfect 70-75F for the last three days. Unfortunately, everything in Georgia decided to bloom last week, and I have had a sinus headache so bad I had to go to the doctor today and now I'm downing mega intense painkillers that have hit me like illegal drugs. This happens every year. I call it the sinusitis high.

Unless it's worth keeping the sinusitis high, I intensely recommend Desensitization shots.

We moved this last weekend, and thankfully the weather was awesome. It also continues to be awesome (high 60s, low 70s), making walking into work enjoyable. I hope this keeps up...

I don't think I can be any more desensitized. Smiley: frown

Pollen is too fine grained for the dust mask to be effective.

No it's not.

Dust and bigger particles will clog up a cheap dust mask quick though. Typical commercial dust masks don't have a tight seal so once clogged you'll just pull in air around the mask - bypassing any filtration.

You'd think they manipulate that name a bit to make a bit more freindly acronym. Perhaps it's named for Custer's last cuss.

It'll actually be fine this weekend, so not a big deal. Definitely going golfing this weekend :D.

It's apparently time for the robins to start fledging, and this morning outside my bathroom window I heard what I thought was a baby in distress, but I dismissed it as just a new nest in the gutters or something. A few hours later the noise remained, but was weakened, so I gathered the strength to look and there was a baby on our stoop, but with all its feathers - crying. Oh, my heart sank, I've spent many springs in my youth trying to fledge baby birds that had left the nest too early. It's not even 40 degrees this morning so it's cooold.

So I went to the front door and apparently the sound of my voice startled it enough to flutter over to the fence (successfully!) and then my continued excitement from the house made it move to a low hanging cable wire, which he had a lot of trouble balancing on. Then he fluttered out of sight.

A spring success!
