I'm insulted.

I was never cool. I was fly as hell.

So ... I took a wrong turn on the intrawebz and ended up in the OOT cul-de-sac. Like Hellboy, I wondered where all the cool posters had gone. According to this site, my last post here was in August, 2010. I suppose it's natural that some of the cool people we knew "back in the day" would have wandered off. It's like going back to your college campus years after you graduate. None of the "kids" are as cool as the students in your day. How could they possibly measure up? Who could be cooler than us at the height of our cool-osity? No one, that's who.

Then I read some of the threads from the "Golden Age" of OOT posting (i.e., back when I posted every day). In the harsh light of perspective gained only by distance, I have to admit ... we weren't that cool. I mean, of course, I was very cool ... still am. But as a group, we fell short. I blame Belkira, Yodabunny, and ieatmice for dragging down the class average of coolness. As OOT "alumni" we need to accept that there is a new class sitting at our desks and laughing at the really old guy who never seems to graduate (how ya doin' Jophiel?).
