After over 8 months of job hunting, I finally found paid work. Smiley: grinSmiley: grinSmiley: grin

It's actually only part-time right now, but the position is salaried and there's a lot of potential to move up to full time quickly. Plus, the position itself is actually great for a first job; a lot of autonomy and diversity.

I'm excited.

I actually had an idea for my 15k ding that turned into a MUCH larger writing project. That will just have to be my 20/25k ding. :P

But you'll just have to settle for Janice:

I've always felt I'd make a phenomenal callgirl.

And nope, not dead. Just keeping myself busy with job hunting ruling the world crying into my pillow other things.

That's actually partly why I didn't post at all between mid November and today. Essentially all my time in the past three months was spent writing cover letters (plus one other big writing project I'm working on), or reconnecting with friends. Especially since one of my best friends returned home after graduating in December.

This job was actually the first I even had an interview for.

When you finish that twelve hundred page novel about the misogynistic culture of Victorian England and the heroine's exploration and expression of self, moral obligations, and existential crises, be sure to send me a copy.

But seriously, congrats on everything, that's incredibly awesome!

The publisher pulled out. Seems they didn't think there was a market for it. Whatever, I got to keep the cool Jane Austen shot glasses.

Congratulations on your job. I hadn't, until now, heard of a salaried part-time position before.
