I was doing Christmas shopping cause I was too hungover to bother doing that last Saturday (lol end of the world drinking).

Edit: I'm also terrible unfit to do any sort of Christmassy stuff, I just like the eating.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Got my gifts all wrapped. Just waiting for tonight to slip the extras under the tree. Not that my 13 year old believes in Santa; it's just always a kick to wake up and find swag that wasn't there eight hours ago.

Merry Kiss Moose.

Got the last present earlier today. We're going to Christmas Eve service at my husband's church then traveling to be with his family tomorrow morning.

This. This is awesome. +1 for being a good dad.

I always, always, always put off my gift wrapping until the last minute. Each year it takes longer as well since I end up buying more. I tell myself I won't delay the next year or wrap them in small batches and it never happens. HURRAY FOR CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS! Smiley: oyvey After coming back from the relatives tonight, I'm going to drink a little too much Jameson and probably spend three hours wrapping around 15 gifts, very *********

At least it's only Christmas and all you have to do is wrap them. Imagine having to write a poem or rhyme for each present as well as build a fake gift that is both flattering and mocking to hide some of the real gifts in (I've made a movie poster for my little brother a few years ago because he thinks so highly of himself and I've made a huge calculator for my sister because she sucks at math, that kind of thing).

Just finished my gift wrapping.I first consumed a healthy dose of Jameson to dull the pain. I think now it might be time to start a new tradition because I'm fat etc.

I made prime rib for the fam yesterday and have about a third of the roast leftover. Still have some delicious horseradish sauce and au jus (all homemade) and some leftover herb and cheddar buttermilk biscuits. Time to go feed my meat/alcohol craving with a big *** thick 16oz slice of rare beef. OMNOMNOM.

Merry christmas from all of us here at Allakhazam / Zam / whatever.

Also, as a side note, we're using your magazines to wrap christmas presents this year. we got tired of holding them in the secret storage closet.

Remeber to post in Asylum if you want in this years prediction thread!

Kids off to bed and presents under the tree WAAAAY too much stuff, kids are spoiled, I did have to settle my daughter down before bed though, Not for excitement but because my wife stupidly picked up her "Elf on the Shelf" in front of her. She started crying that the elf won't be able to get to the north pole. Felt so bad for her, had to calm her down by convincing her she will hitch a ride back with Santa.
For those that don't know, you are not supposed to "touch" the elf or they lose all the Christmas magic. have to move them around every night so the kids think they flew to the north pole during the night to report all the good, and bad, things the kids do. Some people do some amusing things with them and post online.

Merry Christmas for those who celebrate it.

Santa brought me food poisoning.

And he didn't even leave a ******* gift receipt so I can't take it back to the store.

It appears it was the chocolate covered dried fruits, of all things. That's the only thing I ate that my husband didn't.

Some cash, a new suitcase, gloves and clothes.

Best I gave was my brother and I got a family portrait done with both our families. My mom cried when she saw the picture of her 2 boys and 3 grand children.

I am so glad that my kids are older and I can ignore this whole thing. When the kids asked how Santa knew they were bad, I told them that I called Santa myself because every parent gets Santa's number when a kid is born. And then when they really messed up in December, sent them postcards from the North Pole. "Steven, you didn't pick up your room and I'm very disappointed. --Santa." Clean room for the rest of the month.
